This 1953 classic\u2014the <em>Jaws <\/em>of its time, as Nick says\u2014is one of the seminal films in the kaiju genre. It was the first \u201catomic monster\u201d movie. Without it, we may have not gotten <em>Godzilla<\/em> in 1954. It was \u201csuggested by\u201d a Ray Bradbury story, which delights Nathan and Nick as both writers and classic lit nerds.
