Ultraman Nu: An Unofficial Audiodrama, Episode 1 – “Tooth and Fire”

Nate, the secretly resentful host for Ultraman Nu, tries to get back into as normal a life as Monster Island will allow by visiting the Sekizawa Library to conduct research. There, he meets (and is smitten by) Jane, a lovely new librarian, who tells him a notorious T-rex is on display for the library’s “Dinosaur Day.” Nate goes outside to see it, meeting M.A.K.O.’s leader, Captain Darke, just in time for the beast break out of its cage and go on a rampage. Now it’s big dang hero time—even if Nate wishes it wasn’t!

Gamera Saves Christmas | A Belated MIFV Holiday Special

Published January 6, 2026

Susan Murphy is dragged by her anthropologist parents to the Arctic so they can study the Eskimo tribe who introduced the world to Gamera. Susan is angry she will miss her last two years of high school while her younger twin siblings, Shawn and Sharon, love that they live closer to the North Pole and Santa Claus. But Susan won’t have any of this “baby stuff” and berates the twins, who run away. Susan is forced by her father to search for them, and she wrecks her snowmobile in a blizzard. When she awakes, she finds herself in the North Pole, which has the twins, Elves, a talking polar bear, and, yes, Santa Claus. If that wasn’t enough, she and her siblings get caught up with an invasion by Santa’s evil brother, Krampus, who commands an army of Goblins and a kaiju reindeer. Gamera intervenes, but he’s left-for-dead by the monstrous reindeer. Now, Susan and her new friends race against time to revive the Friend to All Children with Santa’s magic Wreath crown. But is the teenage girl’s faith strong enough to save the mighty turtle?

Episode 100 – Fantasy Monster Island: The ‘Destroy All Planets’ RiffTrack Spectacular!

Hello, Kaiju Lovers! We’re celebrating not one but two momentous occasions! First, MIFV has reached triple digits, baby! But more importantly, Jimmy and Kaguya are finally getting married after a whirlwind courtship. All of MIFV’s past guest hosts were cordially invited, and you’ll get to hear highlights like the couple’s vows, Nate’s emotional best man speech, and interviews from guests at the reception. However, before Jimmy can get to the chapel, he and his groomsmen have overcome one last hurdle during the bachelor party—a mysterious device that projects the dreams of the (in)famous Ichiro Miki onto the entire Island! The only way to shut it down is to watch the uncut Destroy All Planets (aka the original dubbed version of Gamera vs. Viras). Not only is it one of only two Showa Gamera movies not riffed on Mystery Science Theater 3000, it’s the most important chapter of Jimmy’s life. Well, before his wedding day, anyway.

Having located “Big Mama” and her offspring in a Thai cave, Jimmy launches a new drone, the P-2, to lure the creatures out so Ricky’s drones can bag-and-tag them and return to the Island. Nate feels left out, but even Kaguya is busy shopping for wedding dresses online. But when the P-2 is wrecked by Big Mama, Kaguya says they can call her friend May, the now grown girl who found Big Mama’s egg years ago, for help.

Episode 94 Epilogue: “The Hunting of the Snarky Nate” (Part 2)

No sooner is the broadcast finished does what seems like the entire North Korean military bombard Uber-Moguera in retaliation for Nate’s sarcasm. When that fails, they lure a very hungry Pulgasari to the airfield, and seeing the mecha as a huge piece of exotic metal food, he attacks. Unable to fight him off, Nate suggests one last desperate measure—that requires the metal minotaur to eat Kaguya!
