The first was \u201cKing\nKong vs. Frankenstein,\u201d a project that special effects legend Willis O\u2019Brien\ntried to get made in the late 1950s before it ended up at Toho. Then Godzilla\nand Kong almost had their rematch in the 1960s with Shinichi Sekizawa\u2019s \u201cContinuation:\nKing Kong vs. Godzilla,\u201d where the Eighth Wonder becomes a surrogate parent to\na Japanese baby! These and many other lost\nKong films are covered in great detail in John\u2019s book <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Kong-Unmade-Films-Skull-Island\/dp\/179807799X\/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=kong+unmade&amp;qid=1574355730&amp;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kong\nUnmade: The Lost Films of Skull Island<\/a><\/em>, which is part of Monster Island\u2019s\nlibrary and one of Nathan\u2019s go-to resources for the podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jimmy From NASA is absent\nfor most of this episode because Kong and Godzilla were upset that Nathan\nskipped their 1962 monster mash movie, so Jimmy left to calm them down with the\n<a href=\"https:\/\/godzilla.fandom.com\/wiki\/ORCA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ORCA<\/a>. The thing is, Nathan\ncovered that film on his previous podcast, Kaijuvision Radio.
